What is the difference between Bookkeeping and Accounting?

Bookkeeping is the day-to-day record keeping. Accounting starts where bookkeeping left off. Amongst others, it includes reviewing the bookkeeping processing, completing reconciliations, and compiling the periodic financial reports.

What should I consider when hiring a professional bookkeeper and/or accountant?

Check and ask for the following:

  • Educational background
  • Years of experience
  • Which accounting software do they support

My records are not well organized, where do I start?

What tax services do you provide?

We have helped file T1 tax return for many of our individual clients with various types of income, including employment income, rental income, dividends, self-employment.

We have also filed T2 return for corporate clients including medical clinics, registry, print shop etc.     

What are your fees?

Our fees depends on the complexity of the work involved and the time we have to spend on your account. Rest assured that we are transparent in our billing process. We will discuss and agree our fees with you in advance of the commencement of our work.
